Mumbai - A City with Struggles that you will start loving

A man from a small town plans to shift to the so called Cosmopolitan, Mumbai to achieve his dreams. As the day to move to this city approaches, he starts exploring the city on the internet. Before moving to this city, he heard about only a few places - Colaba, Andheri, Bandra & some more.

Boarding a flight from Delhi, he landed in this city, a city of opportunities. The struggle started as soon as he landed in this city. He started searching for a suitable accommodation near to his office. Never ever he had traveled more than 15 minutes to reach his office. That was the time he started blaming his employer for building an office in such an expensive area and an area where there is no green cover and you see only heads all around.  After all, Mumbai is the second most densely populated city in the World after Dhaka. So he moved farther from his office and finally settled at a place from where it takes one and a half hour one way to reach office.

As a small town man, he is used to having a house not a flat. He is used to having two or three parking spaces inside the house not a struggle for parking his vehicle. He is used to have spacious house, not one which makes you dispose the furniture and ensure you have just the minimum. OLX seems to be developed for people coming to this city from smaller towns. He is used to have trees inside his home, not that you have to especially travel to a garden to see the trees. He is used to have concerned neighbors not have neighbors who don't bother whether you are there or not.

What he got in Mumbai was a small flat, the size of the living area of his house in a smaller town. So started the adjustment. Once, the accommodation is finalized, he moved to the streets, the roads, the railway station. He was just wondering how will it matter, that you catch a 8.12 local or a 8.17 local. Everyone was running and seems to be in a hurry. People were behaving like robots --- you will find people doing the same thing every day at the same time as if they are programmed to do the same. You leave for office at the same time and reach back at the same time. If you have a personal work, you have no option but to take a leave.

Once you are done with accommodation and commute, this city is really a city of opportunities. He now loves the city as the city has everything you can think off.

Just to close have two lines to say
